Season XVIII Results

Now in its 18th season, LAPL is now officially barely legal - and the league sports columnist has finally crawled out from under his rock to assess the goings on of Season XVIII...

Fresh from last season's Table/Cup double victory, Valhalla is hot out of the gates again this season, accompanied by the usual suspects: Hollywood, Coyotes, and Avanti. Making an appearance in the upper echelon after 5 games is Matador, who made some significant off-season signings. Time will tell whether they are contenders or pretenders.

Only Cloverfield is winless so far, but the season is young, and they can get right this Saturday against archrival Real Santa Monica. In the second game of the Saturday double-header, newcomers BLAggers will get a taste of perennial powerhouse Avanti. Buena suerte amigos - you will need it.
